| Why is my ferret changing color? It’s natural for ferrets to undergo changes in the spring and fall. In the spring ferrets can loose almost half their body weight. Their coats become thinner and often change color. In winter your fuzzy should gain back its weight and regain a thick winter coat. Its winter and spring coats may come in a different color each time. Some ferrets only have a slight color change but some ferrets drastically change color. |
